History and administration
Miami Northwest Stadium is located at 347 Don Shula Drive (Miami Gardens, FL 33056). Over the decades, the arena has gone through several identities, including Joe Robbie Stadium, Pro Player Stadium, Dolphin Stadium, and Sun Life Stadium. Nostalgic fans still call it "The Joe" in honor of its founder, even though its look has changed with the addition of a massive white canopy designed to cast maximum shade on the pitch. It will host matches for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
